IDUL ADHA

Idul Adha is one of big celebration in Islam after Idul Fitri, Idul Adha is to celebrate when the Moslem will do the sacrificed of the cow. In the history it is like Ibrahim and his child in Ibrahim dream, He has a dream that the God is asking him to sacrifice his son (Ismail). But when he will sacrifice his Ismail, Ismail was changed with a goat. Before that he asks to Ismail about his dream and Ismail sincere to do it.

Now, we just sacrificed a cow every Idul Adha. Before the process of sacrificed the Moslem will pray and hear the khotbah (similar to a pastor). And after that we come back home to show the process of sacrificed the cow. Before the cow will be sacrificed by the sacrificer the sacrificer will pray. In the process of sacrificed, there are seven or more man (moral society) is hold the cow so that the cow don’t run away, the sacrificer is use a big knife to sacrificed the cow.

And after the cow was sacrificed, the ta’mirul divides the meat to our neighbors especially the poor people. The ta’mirul has to divide the meat to the poor people, because they must receive that.
